Service Description:
The Child Labor Permit provides legislative protection for the life, health, safety, and welfare of the employed minor. It establishes a permit system for effective administration of child labor laws and serves as a protection for both the minor and the employer. Newcap fills out the required form and sends it to the State.

Eligibility Guidelines:
Clients must be age 12 to 17.

Application Process:
Work permits are issued after all required documents have been received and checked. The documents required are proof of age, letter from an employer, consent of parent, and social security card. A $10 fee is required.
